Google Android Phone IS T-Mobile G1
And so it came to pass… Lo, the phone for which many have held out for and had been known as but a (HTC) Dream, finally has a name and wireframes to go with it.
Witness the Google branding so prominent and resplendent on the hind quarters, the HTC logo on the back of the screen, the slight wonk of the bottom navigation controls when seeing the phone in profile. There is no doubt that the T-Mobile G1 is the phone we have all been waiting for.
If that video is viewed again, the screen slides out to reveal the keyboard in exactly that curved motion the schematics indicate. So it could all be true that the first Android handset will see a September launch. Combined with the FCC filings indicating dimensions of 115 x 55 x 16.3 mm, and the fact that T-Mobile have activated their tmobileg1.com domain means that things are continuing apace!
